Instead, the system requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for seamless control.

The integration of Bluetooth and RF connectivity significantly reduces the time required for unit setting and configuration. Users can easily access advanced features, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, through the wired/wireless thermostat or the AMANA brand mobile app, enhancing the overall user experience.

Notable improvements in design and materials have been made to reduce operating noise and minimize the transmission of exterior and internal sounds into the room. The new PTAC boasts a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating, making it quieter than previous models. This translates to a more pleasant and peaceful environment for both the occupant and their guests. Additionally, the unit features a new modern Quiet White color scheme.

Designed and assembled in the USA for over 45 years, the new AMANA PTAC can now achieve an impressive EER value of up to 14.0. Installation requires a separate sleeve and rear grille, which are not included in the purchase. The unit is designed to fit a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8", and can effectively cool and heat an application area of up to 350 sq. ft.

As a unique offering, the purchase will include the AMANA MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which allows for remote control of the PTAC from anywhere within the room. The Wireless Thermostat comes equipped with the necessary antenna for seamless communication between the unit and the thermostat.
